Carol Satterblom is a seasoned restaurant manager known for her true passion for hospitality and people-first leadership. She began her career as a hostess and steadily rose through the ranks to become the bar manager at the celebrity-owned 72 Market Street in Venice, CA. Her fascination with the complexity of wine and beer led her to work at historic wineries, become a scratch beer-maker and teach home brewing. Carol has managed several notable restaurants in Southern California, including La Creperie Café, Calamigos Ranch and Zin Bistro.
Beyond the restaurant world, Carol is driven by a strong belief in the importance of feeding people. She is a passionate advocate for California’s Universal Meals Program for public schools and volunteers with Meals on Wheels and One Generation’s homebound food program whenever possible.
Today, as the restaurant manager at Farmhouse at Descanso Gardens, she welcomes guests to experience exceptional farm-to-table dining amidst the beauty of the gardens, all delivered with her signature dedication to unparalleled customer service.
